Consciousness Based Universe

I've heard mention that someone thought the universe was Consciousness Based. Meaning, that particles and such were not the founding principle of the universe.

Below is a vision I had:

One day, as I was waiting in line at the grocery store, a vision opened up before me. I saw God, but not what I expected. I saw the darkness that was before the Big Bang. I saw there was something in the darkness, but it did not have shape, or size, but it did have love. It's love was so simple, so humble, and so willing to serve that it would spend 13 billions just being a rock so I might have a place to stand. It was love, it was eternal. I realized that everything I had was a gift, my car, my house, my body, etc, were not really mine, but were gifts of love given to the "concept" of me. But even "I" was a creation love. And then I realized that this "love" did have size, it was infinitely small, and yet, there were an infinite number of them. It was like looking at a high res monitor, with billions of pixels. Each pixel had the same basic, simply love, and had a perspective of what it was, and yet, it also had a relationship to every other pixel and was somehow aware them. It was like a I could zoom in on a grain of sand to trillion times magnification and each level was rich with detail. God consciousness is like a swarm consciousness. The more pixels you have, the better picture you get. I believe that somehow, consciousness is the foundation of all existence. I don't know how, but somehow, all truth gives way to a higher truth and that highest truth is invisible except to consciousness.

One a day a phrase came to my mind. "There is only Truth! Everything else is an Illusion!"

In my childhood, a guide told me that I always had "The Right to Escape." I never really understood this until recently. When God gave us what we call "Free Agency" there was a little trick to it. In my Mormon Religion, we had a phrase that said, "God is a God of Truth and CANNOT LIE!" In a Clock Work Universe, things have to happen in a certain way.

However, you can do TRUTH -1, or a one off of truth if you can have illusion. But you can only have illusion, if you have consciousness. Without consciousness, there can be no illusion. Without consciousness, there can be no escape from the truth. The truth of who we are lays somewhere OUTSIDE of universe. However, there is truth WITHIN the universe, but most of it is actually illusion. Truth is what happens after all of the processes are over and the universe is dead. It is the emptiness of all Clock Work Processes having finished.

All things have consciousness. All things have kind of life, even if they are dead.

Our bodies are the product of this earth, of the influences that have come and gone. There is so much about our bodies that we cannot control, or that we do not own. But there is within us, an element of God, that reaches beyond this Clock Work Universe, that gives us choice. Real Choice! That is magic. It is magic for an object to choice a direction. When you throw a rock into the air, the path of that rock is 100% predictable, given a full understanding of the forces at work. But we are different. True, perhaps 98% of tomorrow is already written, our habits, our plans, the environments, other's plans, etc, all have a certain amount of predictability to them. But there is a part of us, that does not follow the Clock Work laws. In fact, that part leverages those Clock Work laws, such as time and space, to do mighty things. With a little time, and a little space, a little thought can do big things and stay within the confines of truth.

Consciousness is the fabric of the Universe. All things are our family. The magic is in the relationships. If we learn to listen, we will learn to talk. And if we learn to talk, our family will listen.

Conscious Creativity is the finding of true self. Our consciousness at some point becomes one with all things, for all things are made of the same material, which is consciousness.

Truth vs. Illusion

Actually, this post isn’t about Santa Clause, or at least, not directly.

As part of my effort to understand truth, I had to learn to discern what was real and what was not. And I came up with this:

“If it has influence, it is real!”

Wow! What a hopelessly overwhelming idea. If something has an effect or influence on something else, in a Clock Work Universe, then that thing must be real.
As I grew up, I remember being greatly intrigued as scientists discovered
invisible objects by observing the effects they had on other objects. Especially, Black Holes, planets, dark matter,
etc, are objects that can exert influence without being seen.

But in the realm of consciousness, what about invisible objects that cause effect? Excuse my imaginative example, for I’m a little morbid, I think: But consider that your distant Aunt Margaret is walking down the street one day and suddenly, she sees a ghost of her dead
husband Frank on the other side of the street.
Startled, she attempts to cross the street without looking both ways and
is hit by a bus. We’ll leave her fate
open for now.

Now people can argue all day long about whether or not she actually saw a ghost, but the fact that Margaret (hypothetically) crossed the street because she “thought” she saw Frank remains real. The source of Frank’s image could have been a thousand different possibilities, a look alike, a longing desire, a failing
mind, etc. In a universe where truth
happens, some where stimuli triggered a reaction and the levers of the universe
caused a reaction.

This lays a foundation for my idea of who God is. The source of consciousness could be so weak, that we might never find it. But if a spirit can influence a thought, which could influence a body, which could influence a nation, which could influence a planet, then God could indeed be an
invisible influence.

When I think of the magic of my human condition, I am amazed at my ability to defy a Clock Work Universe. Even though my brain is a type of Artificial Intelligence, programmed to respond to countless situations that I cannot even begin to understand or
control, there is a still a small part that get closer to freedom of thought.

I understand that most of the things I want are actually things my body is programmed to want, or to respond to when seen in others. The magic of Mirroring Neurons means that most of what I want is actually just things that I’ve observed in
others and that my brain has reproduced in my own consciousness. So the fancy car, the nice home, the big
muscles, etc, are more then likely just my brain responding to stimuli.

The ability to respond is based on a series of cosmic levers, which are also based on truth. The levers, must work as the Clock Work Universe dictates. So if my brains responds to the story of Santa Clause, whether or not the story is an illusion or not, the effect is
real.

This system of stimuli and response brings into question what is actually real? How deep does the stimuli go? How many systems of levers does it take for consciousness to utter a single word? Can a nation respond to a spirit such as
compassion? Is compassion real? Are the stories that spend its power just
levers? Are the experiences that
condition us to respond to it just training programs?

Though my understanding of deeper dimensions is lacking, I find the 4th dimension (time) to be a massive lever for creating change in the universe. Even though I might not be able to do something in this instant, I might be able to do it over several
days. My consciousness first leverages
the tool of my mind, which then leverages the dimension of time to make a plan
and then leverages the tool of my body and motor planning to achieve something.

The universe has turned into an infinite mess of levers, influences, responses, illusions, and truths for me. Illusions can become real because the truth can create responses to them. For example: If I concoct a story,
aimed to stimulate systems attuned to compassion, I can trigger a response. The story was just a tool to a push a button,
but the pushing was real, the response was real, so in a sense, the story was
real, even if just an illusion.

If it has effect, in a Clock Work Universe, then it is real. The truth is in between the levers and organization of functional systems, but the truth gives power to illusions. Truth is in the spirit. Ultimate truth is invisible. Those things that we see are illusions assembled
by consciousness leveraging truth. If it
happens, it had to follow the laws of truth, even if what happens is an
illusion.

Truth happens.

My mind cannot reach so deep into the truth as to understand all of the pleasures of being. I know that our existence is built upon layer and layer of illusion, though the effect is real, because our consciousness experiences it. We can twist things, but even the twisting
must follow the truth. We can twist
truth into such painful images if our illusions are not in tune with truth. In other words, there are illusions that
compliment truth and there are illusions came be terribly painful.

The Truth of a Clock Work Universe supports the idea of “do unto others” because everything you do affects everyone else. However, if you choose to “ignore” that truth, then pressures are still applied to your existence, they are simply a part of your ignore-ance. Our ignore-ance
is a sum of cosmic pressures and influences that are real, but outside of our
consciousness. In my case, that is a lot of pressure and influence.

Conscious Creativity is the process of unraveling our ignorance and learning to understand the influences upon us and the influences that we have on others. If metaphor, story, or other formless influence can cause an effect, it is real. To ignore those things we consider “unreal”
is to miss 99.9% of the influence in our lives.
Every event is surrounded by a series of Clock Work laws, yet when consciousness
is presence, an simple event could trigger countless different reactions, those causing the Clock Work to react differently, because our consciousness is interfaced with the Clock Works differently.

How consciousness responds to stimuli might be predictable, to some degree, but consciousness can be configured in an infinite possible ways. At some point, all consciousness is the same, but how it is configured is what makes our soul. How we respond to the world around us, is a
process of ownership, and learning how to work the levers of the universe.

Truth by way of Possibility

This idea, "Truth by way of Possibility" came to me through a layer of different ideas and thought forms.

1. Truth Happens.
It dawned on me, that what happens in the universe is based on truth. No where does something happen that doesn't follow the laws, concepts, rules, and physics of the truth.
2. All Things are Spiritual Justified.
For all the bad that seems to happen in the world, everything is spiritually justified. Everything followed a path of truth. Even great lies that warp our minds follow what is truth, or otherwise, they could not influence us. Nothing happens that wasn't setup by some spiritual reality. Even hate, murder, and destruction happen because someone allowed the spirit of such things to flow. If there are such things as random collisions of objects, the truth of physics determines the out come. The result is justified.
3. If it has Influence, it is real.
It dawns on me, that if something has influence, whether it a thought, a fear, a ghost, a whisper, or any other vague thing, it is real. The smallest thought, engaged with the gears of the universe can create massive results. That thought can be ANYTHING. That thought isn't constrained. How the thought interfaces with the universe is based on truth. Not all thoughts can get traction in this universe. But it remains true, that if the thought can influence, then it has gained SOME traction and has become real. Any thought, not matter how ridiculous is only limited by it's ability to interface with the universe.
4. The truth is only limited by doubt.
The universe obeys, unwavering, the structure that produces effect. Effect is a product of an infinite combination of dimensions, levers, structures, realities, etc. What is, is because of truth. What is not, is also because of truth. The universe will obey the consciousness, but if the consciousness is limited, then so the product of truth. If the button is pressed, or the lever is pulled, the universe will respond. If there is a lack of response, it is only because there is a lack of pressing, or a lack of pulling. That lack can be based on ignorance, fear, doubt, warped motives, and many other things.
5. Truth by way of possibility.
There is power in desire. Desire is real. Desire, like water looks for a place to flow. Even the smallest hole in a massive dam can allow desire to flow. As a little flow begins to happen, it creates a path for more flow. Possibilities are that hole. When stuck, begin listing possibilities. Name them, say them, think of them, if the desire sees the slightest crack in the wall of doubt, it will more it. As you list more possibilities, no matter how silly or stupid the desire will being make a path. It might take a billion possibilities, but eventually, the desire will flow, unchecked. And when it does, the truth will happen.

Welcome to My Blog

This blog is sort of an extension of my posting www.newordermormon.org.

I have a number of reasons for starting this blog. I used to be self-diluted with visions of helping others understand truth, maybe even help save the world. Now I realize that I am simply obsessed with hearing myself talk. Why take up good forum space for that?

Also, sometimes my thoughts go from one day to the next and don’t like to be crammed into a 30 minutes sprint of typing. Besides, my grammar and typing skills are less then perfect and I need to change things a few times before I get bored and leave it alone.

This blog is more about what I think, then who I am, though in some ways, the difference is hard to find. Should someone stumble on this site and wonder a bit. . . . I was raised as a fundamentalist Mormon. Though I might fit the popular profile as one of the Lost Boys of Colorado City, I left before Warren Jeffs took power, left of my own free will, love my people, love my former religion to some degree, love Joseph Smith (to the degree that I ever did) and believe that Mormons are special.

Many ex-Mormons, NOM’s, and atheists find me to be a little crazy, but the feeling is mutual. Actually, everyone finds me to be a little crazy.

Anyway, welcome to my blog. Comments are welcome and encouraged.
